Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful that Jaden and Kaylie love each other and for the most part get along really well.

I'm thankful that there are new episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice on tonight!

I'm thankful for my sister Megan and her always being willing to watch my kids.

I'm thankful that I've lost 3 inches on my hips! I still have lots of work to do though!

I'm thankful for the new Clinique de puffer eye serum that my mom got for me. It's the coolest thing ever!!!

I'm thankful for the new Arizona immigration law that was just passed. Most of you who live or have lived in Arizona (like me) also think it is awesome because you know exactly how it is to live there with illegal immigrants.

I'm thankful that Jaden went poop on the potty today and did it willingly!

I'm thankful for our health.

I'm thankful that my kids are happy kids. I know quite a few kids that just never seem happy and hardly smile. I love that my kids have fun with pretty much anyone and like to socialize and smile.

I'm thankful for my mom's health and that she is still a young, healthy, energetic, and happy woman, mom and grandma!

Whatever Wednesday

My vacation couldn't come any faster...these next couple of days I may go crazy. Whatever!

It's April 28th and it's snowing. Enough said. Whatever!!!

I'm tired of my kids not going to bed good and not staying asleep all night. I'm thinking of hiring my friend Andrea to help. Her kids are bedtime angels. Whatever!

I'm so sick of fluctuating up and down 3 pounds, can I just lose 15 more pounds already? Whatever!

Why does tanning have to be bad for me? Can I just be mixed like my kids? Whatever!

I'm not a patient person. Don't tell me to be patient. When I want something, I want it. :) Whatever!!!

p.s. I promise for a better, more positive post tomorrow...it's Thankful Thursday!

Kristin's Baby Shower

Saturday was my friend Kristin's baby shower for her little boy that is coming soon! Ashley's husband, Justin was sooo nice to watch my kids as well as Corgan so we could go have fun. I had so much fun being there with my friends and eating good food and playing games. I actually won a game which never happens! We played baby charades, celebrity baby name game (matching the weird baby name to the celeb parent), and the memory game and some other fun ones. Andrea and Corinn did a great job hosting it and making everything look great! Andrea asked if I would cut the 4 loaves of artisan bread because it was so much work. I seriously wondered how it could really be so hard to cut 4 loaves of artisan bread into little pieces. It was sooo hard! My arms and hands were so sore. If you don't believe me, go try it. :)
Here are some pictures.....

Kristin and her daughter Isabelle - don't you just love Kristin's cute belly?!

Fill in the Blank Friday

Thanks to Lauren at the little things we do for this fun Fill in the Blank Friday! Happy Friday!!

1. The first thing I do in the morning is check my phone.

2. Every night before bed I text, turn off my computer, go pee, brush my teeth, check on my kids.

3. My favorite thing to do when I'm having a bad day is go shopping or tanning!

4. Something that makes me cringe is bad breath and bad attitudes.

5. Social situations are a lot of fun. I love talking to people about anything and everything.

6. I like to collect Hard Rock Cafe glasses.

7. Weekends are for...people that are married and get to spend time together...me on the other hand I get sooo bored on the weekends because everyone is busy with their families and spouses.
And the gym day care isn't open so I feel like a lazy slob all weekend!

I have TWO 2 year olds!

For 2 months I get to say I have two 2 year olds...it's pretty cool. :) Crazy, I know, but cool for sure!

I love Jaden and Kaylie so much! They are my babies and I can't imagine my life without them. These two are definitely best friends. They look out for each other and drive each other crazy at the same time. Kaylie has turned into quite the little tease. She knows exactly how to push Jaden's buttons. She will keep bugging him and bugging him just to get a reaction out of him. She loves tickling him, poking him, sitting on him, laying on him, pulling his clothes, and giving him kisses when he doesn't want them. Jaden can't handle any of the teasing, he just cries and whines until she stops or I have to break them up. I think it's pretty funny he lets his little sister that is much smaller than him get to him so much!
They love to give kisses every night to each other. Kaylie loves to kiss him through the slots of her crib when we say goodnight to her.
I absolutely love when they are happy and get along with each other. It's so nice to hear them say thank you Kiki or thank you Jaden or you're welcome. Or when one of them gets hurt the other comes over and asks if they're okay. I'm so glad they have each other and I hope they always stay best buds and look out for each other.

I love you my little two year olds!!!

Kaylie's Birthday

I can't believe my little girl is TWO! We had such a great weekend celebrating her birthday. Friday we got to go get our pictures taken by the wonderful Abbey! I can't wait to see how they turn out. Saturday night we had a get together outside with our friends and had cake and ice cream and the kids played at the park. I'm so grateful for the great friends that we have. They have such great families and are great people.

she got this Mr. Potato Head from Corgan and she looves it. It's been quite a hit with the kids!

McKenna and Rylie :) cute girls

Kimber eating cake with all the kiddies

Sunday night my family came over to celebrate with Kaylie on her birthday. We had yummy cherry chip cake with cherry frosting. (It's been a family favorite forever.) Kaylie got so many fun presents and had so much fun.

I love her face in this picture, she is so excited to see a pretty Snow White dress from Uncle Ryry.

Jaden HAD to wear it, too :)

Aunt Angie got her a cute BYU shirt and some socks! Go Cougs!!!

Jaden and I greeted her in the morning with her present from Grandma. She was so happy to see a Dora puzzle!

The kids and I went to church and it was fun for Kaylie because in nursery they sang Happy Birthday to her and made a big deal out of it. They also looked extremely cute in their matching outfits.

Fill in the blank Friday

Thanks Nicole for sharing this blog, what a fun idea!

1. The strangest thing I've ever eaten was snails...ewwww.

2. My best friend is my mama! She rocks :)

3. If could live in a different era, I would want to live in the 50's!!! I love the poodle skirts, the music and the fun dancing! Oh and the hairdos!

4. I like to have girl time and chit-chat.

5. If you only know one thing about me it should be that I am a good friend and will do anything for those I care about.

6. My favorite book of all time is Why Men Love Bitches...that book pretty much changed my life.

7. The one beauty product I couldn't live without is mascara! As long as I'm tan, I feel pretty good without makeup on, but mascara is a must! Tied for second is Clinique moisturizer and Clinique All About Eyes - gets rid of my tired puffy eyes!

8. Blogging is something I love to do. It helps me keep track of all the little things that I want to remember my kids or myself doing, saying, learning, etc.

9. If I could star in a movie with an actor/actress, I would want to work with Will Smith...love him! He's hilarious, sexy, friendly and an incredible actor. Also I would love to work with Sandra Bullock, how awesome would that be?!?!

10. One of the best feelings in the world is being in love. Someday...someday!

Feel free to do it, too! :)

Easter weekend

Who the heck asked the Easter bunny to bring snow for Easter?? Santa is the one that is supposed to bring snow! I'm so over this weather! Next holiday is Mother's Day and if there is snow on MY day then I will be peeved. :)

Along with the miserable weather, the kids and I have been sick with colds for what seems like forever. Just when I think it's getting better, it gets worse. I'm tired of snotty noses and whiny kids. Easter weekend was a rough one for us. I had quite a few break downs on Saturday, the poor kids were a little worried about me. The looks on their faces were so confused. I don't think I have ever cried so hard in front of my kids. They both gave me the biggest hugs. Jaden kept saying "It be okay Mommy. What's wrong Mommy? I love you Mommy." Kaylie would rub my back and say "wrong?" and "happy Mommy." You'd think maybe my break downs would have made them want to be really good the rest of the day, but nope...they were really naughty, I think it was my fault though because of my mood. What caused this break down? It all started with me putting gas in my car thinking I still had a few dollars left over to get Jaden the frosty he really wanted. Get in the drive through and realize that I only have 60 something cents. Jaden was not happy and just cried and cried and of course that made me cry because I couldn't buy my baby a frosty. More and more things piled onto that day. Boy am I glad that day is over!

On a more positive note...my sister Megan babysat the night before, the whole night so I could go out and stay out late and have some fun. (Probably why I was so over emotional on Saturday - only 4 hours of sleep!) I had a lot of fun Friday night though! I'm so thankful for my sister and her being willing to help us out as much as she can. The kids had so much fun with Megan and Angie, coloring Easter eggs and eating Smart cookie.

My dear sister Megan also watched the kids for a couple of hours on Sunday night so I could go out to dinner with Jamie. The kids LOVE going to Megan's house aka "Meme's", they have so much fun. They are always so happy after and tell me all the stories of the fun things they did at her house. They love playing the Wii and this time they did the boxing and Megan said Jaden won!

I have a job interview on Wednesday for what seems like a good company so I hope it leads to something good! I want to be able to afford a hundred frosties for my babies. :)

Weight Watchers is going sooo well! I am feeling so good and sticking to it! I've lost about another 7 pounds. I've lost only 15 pounds from last year but hey that's better than nothing! And pretty dang good for only doing Weight Watchers only a couple months out of the past year. I am determined to stick to it though. I was looking at pictures of me last summer and I almost threw up! ha! It's a good motivation for me :)

This post has been a little up and down and all over the place...kind of like my past week. I'm just happy it's a new week and it's almost Kaylie's 2nd birthday!!!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!!
