Kaylie scratches inside her ears so hard that she makes them bleed. She has scabs in her ears and on her neck. She scratches herself when she gets mad. Drama queen :)
We went to the mall today (here in California) and everyone was in winter coats and hats like it was 20 degrees or something! I think it was 55 and rainy. It's pretty funny to me. I was in a short sleeve shirt and jeans.
I think I have a sweating problem because every time I am getting myself and the kids ready to go, I start sweating. Any other moms have this problem? It's a lot of work!
Remember the Titans was just on TV, I love that movie.
I miss my cinnamon bears. I really think its just a Utah thing because I haven't been able to find them anywhere here in California or in Arizona. I haven't had one in weeks. I'm really sad about this.
I miss all the music on my computer at home. I'm going through withdrawals. AJ and I don't like a lot of the same music. Not fun.
This blog is boring, but I'm bored so I just thought I'd blog. Keep it hood! :)

Halloween (a little late)
My sister reminded me that I didn't even blog about Halloween and put up pictures up the kids. My bad! AJ had to work pretty late so his daughter Aaliyah went with me to take Jaden and Kaylie trick or treating. Jaden was Tony Romo, Go Cowboys! and Kaylie was a princess. We had a fun time! The weather was great except for the few minutes of rain. Jaden and Kaylie got lots of attention, everyone thought they were so cute. They were pointing and smiling saying "look there's Romo!" One lady even wanted to take a picture of him. We went out for about an hour and got lots of candy. Jaden had fun knocking on the doors and waving bye-bye. Here are some pictures from the evening. Happy Halloween!

Where a kid can be a kid!!!
Chuck E. Cheese's where a kid can be a kid! :) AJ and I took the kids there yesterday and had a blast. Jaden had a lot of fun riding the fire truck and climbing all over the skeeball game
and riding on a bike with Daddy.
This one was probably his favorite little ride. It was a seat that went up and around the whole clock really slow. He looked like he was about to fall asleep. AJ and I had fun playing the arcade games and winning a lot of tickets. Kaylie even had fun in the little cars and would smile all big and get so excited.
(ignore the token cup in between my legs)
I attempted my old favorite game, Dance Dance Revolution which I used to be really good at. Well now I suck. It's probably cuz I'm a tad bit out of shape!
We had a really fun day together as a family. I love to see my kids so happy with big smiles on their faces.

Yes we can!!!
I was speechless tonight as I watched and listened to the announcement of Barack Obama winning the election. I sat there and listened to him speak with tears in my eyes and goose bumps all over. I called my mom and we were both crying on the phone about how amazing it is. Obama is such a wonderful person and I love to hear him speak. He is so motivational and caring. It is an amazing day in history to have the first black president. Obama's talk about the 106 year old lady that has seen a lot of ups and downs in America was very touching. It makes me think of Jaden and Kaylie, and if they were born back then. If Jaden came to me at 6 years old and said "mommy I want to be the president someday", I would've had to tell him somehow that it would probably never happen. But just like Obama said, All things are possible! Obama becoming the first black president is not the only reason I am so excited. It is because he is someone who truly cares about us and our country and wants to bring change to America. Wow, I just love to listen to him speak. After his speech tonight I just wanted to shout Amen! It makes me smile to watch him with his wife and children. He is an awesome guy! I am so grateful to have been a part of history. I casted my first vote in my life for the future President Barack Obama. My heart is full of pride and hope for my little family and for our country. "All things are possible!"
"Yes we can!!!"

Big Jaden in da house!
Another month has gone by and Jaden is 17 months old! 17 months and his smile still melts my heart. He is such a fun little guy. He is having fun here in San Jose getting to know his daddy and his big (half) sister and his grandparents. It has been a little more stressful for me being here though. The grandparents house is not child proof so Jaden is having fun getting into everything. It's been tough, but he still manages to make me smile all the time.
New things Jaden does:
-Today I asked if he could say "I love you" and he said it, in his own baby talk. It was soooo cute.
- gives me kisses all of the time without me even asking.
- he loves it when I lift up his shirt and rub his belly.
- he likes to help me empty the dishwasher by handing me the plates and bowls one by one
- he helps me with the laundry, shakes out the clothes, puts them in the dryer, tries to fold them
- when he knows he has done something wrong he tilts his head toward his shoulder and wrinkles his nose and smiles. It's pretty dang cute.
- he loves to try to pick up Kaylie and hold her and give her kisses
- today is the first time I've heard him say "hi Kay!" to his sister. awwww :)
- he loves to steal Kaylie's pink sippy cup
- he loves to vacuum and mop the floors
Those are only a few I can think of for now. Happy 17 months Jaden :)

Random Sunday thoughts :)
To all you moms that are also wives, you are amazing! The reason I say this is because I went from being a single mom of 2 kids to pretty much a wife and a mom taking care of 3 people. I highly recommend to all the single people out there, get married or be in a long relationship before you have children. Don't get me wrong, I am extremely happy being with AJ again and being a family. I love it. But it has also been a big adjustment. I find myself stressed out more because I have to think of 3 people now, and put them first. Usually my nights are all about me because the kids are asleep and I do what I want. Now my nights are spent with AJ and doing things we both want to do. It's very different. I know that I will get the hang of things very soon, and be able to balance my needs and my family's needs. After all, I am super mom! :)
I am so grateful for AJ and the amazing person that he is. He has helped soooo much with the kids and taken care of me. He lets me sleep in, brings me tea since I've been sick, rubs my head and shoulders, gives me kisses in between the kids running around and all the chaos. I love him and I am soooo happy that everything is working out for us.
I can't stand when someone looks at me and I can just tell they are looking me up and down and judging me. It drives me crazy! There is nothing I hate more than people acting like they are above me.
I really hope the Cowboys pull through today and beat the G-men. I'll be saying my prayers.
I am sooooo excited that Nicole is having another little girl!!! Brindley is going to be an awesome big sister. I love Nicole to death. She is an amazing, incredible, fabulous, wonderful friend. I love that we are so close and can talk about anything. I love knowing that no matter where I move to or where she moves to, we will always be close friends.
I am so tired of being white, LOL...can I just be tan all year long and not have to spend money on it? Do they have a permanent dye for skin?? :)
I can't wait until November 5th and all the election stuff will be over. I'm so tired of seeing commercials on prop 8, prop 10, prop 2, Obama, McCain, etc etc etc. Oh and let me just add...Wanda Sykes was on the Ellen DeGeneres show the other day and she was saying if anyone should know anything about discrimination, it is black people...and prop 8 is all about discrimination. Years ago it wasn't even legal for black people to marry white people! If the law stopped me from marrying AJ because he is black I would be livid! So I can imagine how the gay people feel, not being able to marry who they love. For us to say that it is wrong to marry who you love and not allow gays to marry each other, that is discrimination. Whether you believe in gay marriage or not, it doesn't mean you have to believe it or live it or be gay, you should just not discriminate. That is my 2 cents, and I'm sure I pissed a lot of people off, but hey it's my blog and if you don't like it don't read it. :)
On a happier note, I love everyone! And I love my kids! :) Happy Sunday!!!
