1.  If I didn't have to work anymore I would...how about I get paid with actual money to be a single mom? :) that sounds better.

2.  My favorite thing about a vacation is...complete relaxation and worry-free. 

3.  When packing for a trip I get stressed and completely over-pack.

4.  If I could go on a road trip with anyone (dead OR alive) I would choose...Nicole, since we haven't done it before. It'd be sooo fun!!!

5.  My top 3 absolute travel essentials are...makeup, phone, music.

6.  Vacations are...the best thing ever! It's such a great mood-lifter and a way to re-energize yourself.

7.  On vacation you must always...smile and not worry! hakunah matata!!! :)

Feature Friday

Feature Friday from this blog...

1. The most adventurous thing I've ever done is...hmmm this is hard cuz I'm not very adventurous. Taken a road trip with friends when we were in high school. A few weeks ago Jamie and I broke into the pool at our complex. We hopped the fence and got caught. :)


2. If I were a pair of shoes I would be a pair of... I'd be two...flip flops and then shiny red chunky heels.

3. My preferred mode of digital communication is...texting. I hate talking on the phone.
4. I feel happiest when...I see the scale drop lower. and of course cuddling with my kids :) and hanging out with nicole and the kids.

5. A little dream I have for my life is...to be a cosmetologist someday...I just want to do hair!

6. The one modern convenience I could NOT do without is...internet! google is awesome!

7. Music, movies, TV or books: if I could only choose one to enjoy I would pick...tv for sure. I love all of my tv shows. they make me happy!!!

My mom rocks

My mom came to visit the end of July. We always LOVE when Grandma aka "bah-ma" comes to visit! She takes great care of us. We always eat lots of food, do lots of shopping, and I get to take lots of naps and this time Jamie and I got to go on some dates. 

One of our favorite places to eat has always been Robintino's. We went there with my sister Angie. 

My mom and I took my kids up to my brother's house and got to babysit my nieces, Anya, Sasha and Katya. We had soooo much fun playing Barbies and pretend. Jaden had fun taking the Barbies for rides on Lightning and playing with new toys. Jaden and Kaylie always have so much fun playing with their cousins. They love them!

Jaden's Birthday (a little late)

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY JADEN!!!

Since Jaden was in California for his birthday, we had a party for him here when he got home. He was really excited to celebrate his birthday and eat cake and get presents. He had so much fun playing with his friends and family. We started out at our house and Jamie cooked some yummy hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone. Then after it got really chaotic with tons of kids running around, us adults decided we better move it outside at the park. So we went down to the park and the kids played, we had cake and opened presents. Thank you to everyone that came!!! (my dad, Ryan, Megan, Angie, Jamie, Nicole, Tom, Brindley, Londyn, Corinn, Eric, McKenna, Maddox, Andrea's sister Katie, Rylie, Davis, Olivia, and of course Kaylie. :)

My babies are baaaack! :)

Jamie and I went to Vegas this weekend and stayed at his dad's house. The purpose of going down there this time was to pick up my kids on Sunday! The plan was to meet AJ and the kids at 10 am Sunday morning in Vegas. Well that didn't happen. AJ didn't show up until 3 pm Sunday. I am just glad that I was already in Vegas for the weekend or else I would have been waiting in Vegas for 5 hours! I pulled up and Jaden was driving his Lightning around the parking lot (it was empty) and he didn't realize it was me until after I got out of the car and called his name. Kaylie was so surprised to see me and says "mommy!" in  her cute little voice and jumps into my arms. I was so happy to be hugging them again! 
 

We got home at almost 1 in the morning. Jaden did an excited yell when we got out of the car and saiys, "my house!!!" and when we got to the door to unlock it he says "my toys are in there!" They were standing out on the balcony, while we were bringing in all the stuff, jumping up and down and giggling and screaming with excitement. I didn't care, I was just so happy to see them so happy. I let them stay up and play for a half hour and run around and get all their excitement out.

I love my kids so much!!! I have been hugging and kissing them like crazy since they've been back. I am way more patient with them. :) Oh and I'm also extremely tired! LOL...my body isn't used to taking care of two toddlers 24/7. After 6 weeks of only taking care of myself, I forgot what it was like! I am very happy they are back though and love to see their cute little faces anytime I want.

Happy (early) 4th of July!!!

I am very thankful to live and raise my kids in this awesome country. Our country is definitely dealing with a lot of hard times, but doing a lot better than most countries! I am grateful that we have a kick ass president! I ♥ President Obama, I think he is the perfect president to have during these crazy times. We are really blessed to live in America and have the freedoms that we do. 

Hope everyone has a safe 4th of July weekend! I will be picking up my babies on the 4th, what better way to spend it! :) 

missing you...

Holy crap I miss my babies soooooo much! I have had a very nice break, but I'm ready for it to be over! I want my babies home! I want to squeeze, kiss, play, talk, hug, listen, cuddle, and love them. One week from today I will be picking them up and taking them home with me! 

I talked to them on webcam tonight for a few minutes and it was so special to see their faces light up when they saw me. Jaden was talking about Disneyland and how excited he is to go there. Their grandparents took them to the newly remodeled airport today in San Jose and they got to see a lot of planes. I can't wait to hear all of their stories. Jaden is going to be talking about it forever. They both told me they loved me a few times and blew me kisses. I love them so much!!!
