Goodnight my little sweetie pies!

random :)

Jaden went poop in the potty today for the first time! I'm such a proud mom! :) I put him on his potty after his bath this morning and he sat there for a few minutes and got up and said "I did it!" and I looked in it and sure enough there was poop! He was so excited. I would go out and buy pull-ups right now and just get him trained, but I have no money so we'll wait for that. Hopefully this weekend!

Tonight for dinner Nicole was kind enough to make us dinner. We had yummy spaghetti! Kaylie absolutely loved it. I tried to feed her, but I just couldn't feed her fast enough. She just wanted to grab it all so I let her have at it. She actually licked the plate... hehe!

Dancing with the Stars - I came this close to having a heart attack tonight when I thought Melissa was going home. Okay, maybe I'm a little dramatic, but I was so nervous for her! I love Melissa and I think she is one of the best dancers this year and I think she deserves to win. I'm so glad that she didn't get sent home despite her injury! Go Melissa!

I am still loving American Idol. I hope Kris or Adam wins. They deserve it, in my opinion.

I don't have anything else to say :) goodnight!

Jaden got his hair cut short today. I've decided that for the winter I will keep it long and the summer I will keep it short. I think he looks so cute.

My little man is going to be potty trained before I know it! I can't believe how big he is getting. The past couple of weeks he has been going potty right after he takes a bath. I have now started asking him here and there if he wants to go potty and he says yes and runs to the bathroom all excited. I even was changing his diaper last night and he started to pee and I told him to stop and wait until he got to the potty. He listened and held it and we walked to the potty and he went! I couldn't believe it. I think in the next couple of weeks I am really going to buckle down and get him potty trained! Wish me luck :)

Kaylie is still full of personality, I think she finds a new trait every day! I love her to death, but this little girl I think is going to give me a run for my money. I must admit, she loves her mommy! The other day my friend watched her for 30 minutes and she cried most of the time. The second I came back she stopped. She just loves me to hold her and she loves to give hugs and kisses. She holds on so tight when I hold her, like "don't let go mommy!" It's so cute. I love my little girl and all her personalities. :)

I love this picture because Jaden is totally standing in front of Kaylie like the picture is all him. He actually stepped in front of her so he could be in the front. Gotta love it :)

He loves getting his picture taken now. He says "cheese! cheese!" when he is doing something and wants me to go get the camera and take a picture. :)

Rain, rain go away...

What a boring weekend it has been! The weather has been so crappy! We have been couped up in the house all weekend, but we still managed to have a little bit of fun...

Jaden likes to try on my shoes and clothes. :)

Laziness doesn't pay off...

This morning I put the kids in the stroller and went on a 35 minute walk around my neighborhood. It was a great workout because there are so many hills. We get back to the house and I go and take Kaylie inside and let Jaden stay out and play for a few seconds. I put Kaylie on the couch so she can look out the window and see us. Then I tell Jaden it's time to come inside and I start to fold up my stroller to put it away. I realize that my car doors are locked and my keys are inside. I didn't want to have to go in the house and grab my keys (laziness) so I saw that the passenger side window of my car was down about 3 inches. I decided to just stick my hand through the window to unlock the door, thinking that I will just walk around and pop the trunk to put the stroller away. Well the door unlocked, but then as I try to take my arm out, it doesn't come out!!! My arm is officially stuck in the window. Jaden is standing there watching me with a confused look on his face as I'm trying to yank my arm out. I'm trying hard not to cuss or cry because it hurt so bad! I tell Jaden to go in the house and get my keys, but he doesn't, he just wanted to watch me and try to help me get it out. Kaylie is banging on the window in the house and waving all excited, she has no idea her mom is stuck in the car! I have my cell phone with me so I'm thinking that I will have to call my friend Nicole to come and get my keys from inside the house and start my car and roll down the window, but then I remember she is at a doctor appointment. About 5 minutes later, I'm losing circulation, my arm kills and I'm ready to call the cops or something. Then I look over and my neighbor was across the street getting her mail. I have only spoken to this lady once or twice. I look over and wave with my free arm and she says hi and smiles with a look on her face like what the heck are you doing? So I say "can you come help me? My arm is stuck in the window." She couldn't believe it. She came over smiling and went in my house and got my keys and then started my car and rolled down the window and my arm was free! Thank goodness! My arm was hurting so bad for awhile after. Jaden kissed it better several times.
The moral of the story...don't be lazy!!! =)

Kaylie one year appt.

Kaylie had her one year doctor appointment today. She is developing great physically and mentally. She weighed in at 21 lbs 13 oz and 30 inches tall! She is tall for her age and average for her weight. The doctor couldn't believe she was already walking everywhere all by herself. It's so awesome to see her walk! Her doctor encouraged me to be done with pacifiers and bottles by 15 months. Oops, guess I better take the pacifier away from Jaden! So tonight I looked in my sink piled high with bottles and decided that there will be no more bottles in our house! I threw them all away! I am sure Kaylie will do fine without bottles because she drinks from her sippy cup so well. The pacifier is going to be a nightmare with Jaden and Kaylie though. Wish me luck! I'm going to wait on that another week. :)
Here is a picture of Kaylie drinking her last bottle...dun dun dun...

Goodbye bottles, I will miss you! NOT!!!!
