Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for Jaden being so sweet to me and caring so much about me. The other day I was crying pretty hard and he came and sat down by me and wiped my tears off my face. And he kept giving me hugs and asking "you ok mommy?" He is so sweet. I love my little boy.

I am thankful for good friends that I can always count on.

I am thankful for the tanning salon. It's the only thing making me feel pretty right now.

I am thankful for AJ. After all we have been through together, good and bad, he is still a good friend to me and will listen to me cry or vent anytime.

I am thankful for sports. Life would be so boring without football or basketball!

I am thankful that I will soon have the opportunity to watch my sister's best friend's little baby girl Madison a couple days a week. It will cure my baby hungriness. :)

I am thankful for my determination to lose weight and eat better. I am doing pretty darn good compared to how I have been the past couple of years.

I am thankful for Kaylie's hugs and kisses that she gives me a hundred times a day.

I am thankful for mornings I had like this morning with my kids. We danced around and sang with pretend microphones. Jaden and Kaylie tried on my shoes and hats and danced around and watched me be silly. We have so much fun together.

I am thankful for my brother Ryan and how much he loves the three of us and all he does for us. He is an awesome uncle. Always good times with Uncle Ry Ry!

Whatever Wednesday!!!

What is up with this weather? 53 degrees and rainy in June? I'm wearing a jacket...in JUNE! Whatever!

I am full of so much stress and mixed emotions the past couple of days. I have lots to decide in the next month. Whatever!

Why can't I win the lottery? Whatever!

Did I mention this weather sucks?! Whatever!

Good times @ Barcelona in Scottsdale, AZ

Last Friday night I went out on the town with Desiree and Lauren. We had soooo much fun. We were out from 9 pm to 3 am...and now I know why I only go out like that once or twice a year. I was hurting all weekend! I was exhausted! But I'm so glad I was able to go out with my girls and dance and drink and have a good time. Love you!! Thanks, Mom for watching them!!!! :)

Confession Sunday

I confess that I am obsessed with my eyebrows now. I hadn't ever used an eyebrow pencil until my mom suggested I used one when I plucked too much. I did, and I love it!

I confess that I went to a movie by myself today and saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. It was really good.

I confess that I don't want to go back home to Utah tomorrow.

I confess that I am a text-a-holic. I think I text way too much.

I confess that I wish my kids could see their daddy soon.

I confess that I am going to miss sleeping in. Thanks Grandma. :)

I ♥ Arizona

We are having so much fun here in Arizona. The kids are having fun with their grandma and grandpa and I am enjoying some much needed "me" time.

I have hung out a couple times with my friend Lauren, yes we are both Laurens. We've been called Lauren sandwich, Lauren squared, and Double L. It's pretty fun. She is a great friend and we always have a lot of fun together. We layed out at the pool all day last Sunday, it was very enjoyable.

I took Kaylie with me swimming to go hang out with my friend Camille and her baby Avery. Kaylie loved the water and was happy the whole time.

Last Friday we celebrated my mom's birthday. We went and ate at California Pizza Kitchen and had some yummy food. The kids weren't so well-behaved, thankfully we are fast eaters. I had to hold Kaylie the whole time. She just loves me so much, what can I say? :)

Jaden started acting really grumpy and whiney today, it was so bad that finally my mom said that something has to be wrong with him. I didn't think there was anything wrong, I was just thinking he was tired or just in a bad mood. Well I took him to urgent care tonight and sure enough he has an ear infection and a swollen throat. Poor guy. We got him some medicine so hopefully he starts feeling better soon. I want my sweet little angel back. :) He was so excited to go to the doctor. He was saying "doctor, doctor!" the whole car ride there and then when we got there he had to take "his" purse with him inside. haha! Don't tell his daddy, but he loves my purses. :)

Jaden's 2nd Birthday!!!

My little stud muffin turned 2 years old yesterday! How exciting!!! He had a low-key birthday, but it was full of lots of love, hugs and kisses and singing Happy Birthday over and over. This morning he opened his presents and was so excited. He got a Cars backpack!


And he got a really cool puzzle that he loves and has played with all day. Another book and also the Little Einsteins' rocket!



Before we left for Arizona my sister Angie gave Jaden a piggy bank that is a football! She made it and it's soooo cute. I have more pictures of it at home, this is the only one I had. It's really cute and he was really excited about it.


Jaden got to talk to his daddy on the phone today. They sat and had a 5 minute conversation. He kept saying "love you daddy", "i'm two", "it's my birthday", "Go Kobe", "miss you daddy", "see ya." Daddy kept asking him questions and he would answer "yea!" enthusiastically. It was so cute to watch his face light up talking to him. He also got to talk to his Uncle Ry-Ry who he loves so much.

I love you Jaden! Happy Birthday! I am so grateful to be your mommy and your best friend. :)
